These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of frontbits.com (the "Site") and any purchase of The Build from Frontbits LLC ("Frontbits," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the Shams Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. By using the Site or booking The Build, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
The Build is Frontbits' process for delivering custom software. Each engagement is scoped individually on a kickoff call and typically includes:
- One core workflow or tool, scoped together on a kickoff call
- A scope of work, price, and delivery timeline agreed together before any work begins
- One structured round of revisions before handoff
- Hosting and deployment, so the tool is live, not just handed over
- Full source code and documentation, transferred to you at handover
The exact scope, price, and delivery timeline for your project are set out in writing after the kickoff call and become part of your agreement with us, assuming timely feedback and inputs from you. If your needs are larger than one core tool, we'll discuss a custom-scoped engagement instead, priced and scheduled separately from these Terms.
2. Payment
The price for your project is agreed in writing before any work begins and is payable as follows, unless we agree otherwise in writing:
- 50% at project start — due to book your kickoff call and lock in a start date
- 50% on delivery — due when the tool is delivered and handed over to you
All fees are quoted per project, in US dollars, and exclusive of any taxes, which are your responsibility unless we state otherwise in writing.
3. Cancellation and refunds
Once your kickoff call is booked and the initial 50% deposit is paid, that deposit reserves your start date and is non-refundable, since it holds a delivery slot that we can no longer offer to another client. If Frontbits is unable to deliver the agreed scope, we'll refund any fees paid for the undelivered portion of the work.
4. Revisions and scope
The Build includes one structured round of revisions, requested and delivered before final handoff. Requests that fall outside the originally scoped tool, screens, or workflow are treated as new scope and quoted separately — they're not covered by the included revision round.
5. Your responsibilities
To hit your agreed delivery timeline, we need timely feedback, decisions, and any accounts, content, or access you're responsible for providing. Delays on your side may push back the delivery date without affecting the price.
6. Intellectual property
Until final payment is received, all work product remains the property of Frontbits. Upon full payment, we transfer full ownership of the source code, documentation, and deliverables built for you as part of The Build. Frontbits retains the right to reuse general-purpose components, techniques, and know-how that aren't specific to your project.
7. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its normal operation, attempt to access it by unauthorized means, or misuse the contact form or booking widget. All content on the Site, other than materials we've explicitly licensed, belongs to Frontbits.
8. Warranties and liability
We build The Build carefully and stand behind our work, but the Site and any deliverables are provided without warranties beyond what's stated in these Terms or agreed in writing. To the extent permitted by law, Frontbits' total liability arising from The Build or the Site is limited to the amount you paid us, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Terms already agreed to for an in-progress or completed engagement remain as originally agreed.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Shams Free Zone, United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
